Construction Materials Testing (CMT) is a critical quality assurance process that verifies soils, concrete, asphalt, steel, and other materials meet project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements before and during construction. Proper CMT helps prevent structural failures, costly delays, and long-term performance issues by ensuring materials are suitable for their intended use and properly installed. APS GEO brings the technical expertise, certified personnel, and field-tested experience necessary to deliver accurate, timely testing and reporting, helping projects maintain compliance, quality, and structural integrity from the ground up.

LAND SURVEYING
We are capable of performing both conventional type surveying, typically favored by construction crews, as well as unmanned aerial drone surveys. For many of our projects, we provide the only survey for the project, capturing hydraulic, structural, environmental, and construction data requirements. If preferred by the client, we establish the project control and survey baseline through physical control points that tie into geodetic coordinate systems. By performing the site survey and collecting all necessary data, our staff can tailor survey requirements for each individual project, eliminating any “data gaps” and minimizing project costs.
SUBSURFACE INVESTIGATIONS
We have in-house drilling services, but also subcontract drilling as needed for specialty access projects. Use of in-house staff provides increase safety. We offer several in-house drill rigs ranging from the truck mounted B-53 Mobile Drill to track mounted Geoprobe to a skid-steer mountable D-25. We can tailor our investigation to your project needs.
Some key services offered are Split Spoon and Shelby Tube Sampling, Rock Coring, Concrete Coring, Mineral Investigation, Borrow Pit Investigation, Well Monitoring, and All-Terrain Drilling Capabilities.
SITE CHARACTERIZATION
As part of project planning, we perform detailed desktop studies, utilizing published data to the extent practical. This leads to cost savings by not duplicating past efforts and by informing the upcoming investigation leading to more targeted investigations.

We offer many different construction related services. We are familiar with various types of project delivery and experienced with specialty construction methods. APS GEO has a team of seasoned engineers with an extensive background in design-build construction. As such, we can leverage this experience to consider project constraints that can drive construction costs.

GEOHAZARD PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
Our team is familiar with the geohazard issues across North America and has past experience as landslide repair, rock slope stabilization, and rockfall mitigation contractors. We are well versed in rockfall mitigation and investigation, design, preparation of bid documents, project cost estimates, and construction.
We have licensed drone pilots on staff to provide both aerial photography and photogrammetric modeling that is critical for communicating with contractors.
